Reflection-I learnt that making mosaics was fun but time consuming.

Walt-Find the word 'autobiography' in the dictionary and learn it's meaning. Identify famous people who have written autobiographies. Find an autobiography in our library.

 

Reflection-I learnt that a lot of people have written autobiographies. I also learned that a biography is when someone else writes it for you when you pass away. And autobiography is when you write it yourself.

Chelsea-reading narrative

Walt-Read narrative texts and engage higher order thinking skills. Reflection-I learnt that it is really easy to infer once you read and reread the text.

Chelsea Inference RL

Make inferences using the clues in the text along with your own experiences to help you figure out what is not directly said.

 

Reflection-I learnt that inferring is annoying cause there is lots of different answers that it could be.

 Walt-Understand decimals to the tenths, hundredths and thousandths. Use decimals within word problems

Reflection-I learnt a lot of new maori words that I never thought I would know.

WOW - Find information on a famous NZ actor (Russell Crowe).  

Reflection-I learnt that Russell Crowe is a famous actor especially in Robin Hood because he is Robin Hood.

Walt-create an appealing piece of art by blending paint and using google drawings.

Reflection-I learnt that blending is a lot harder than it looks.

Walt- Find information on a famous director (Sir Peter Jackson). Reflection-I learnt that Sir Peter Jackson was alive and existed and that he directed the movies The Lord Of The Rings, and The Hobbit.

Reflection-I learnt about all the parts of a tripod like the shoe.

Reflection-I learnt that there is such thing as a cut away shot it also means that it means it isn't the main subject.

Walt- Plan and create an advert that for a specific purpose and audience
Reflection-Keep social distancing unlike people in other country's like america or we might end up back in lock down. What I found frustrating was that my computer was really slow and that I kept having to reload.
