Chelsea-Mosaics

 Walt-Use 2D shapes and the polyline tool to create mosaic art on Google Drawings.

Reflection-I learnt that making mosaics was fun but time consuming.

Wow Word Autobiography

Walt-Find the word 'autobiography' in the dictionary and learn it's meaning. Identify famous people who have written autobiographies. Find an autobiography in our library.

 

Reflection-I learnt that a lot of people have written autobiographies. I also learned that a biography is when someone else writes it for you when you pass away. And autobiography is when you write it yourself.

Chelsea-reading narrative

Walt-Read narrative texts and engage higher order thinking skills. Reflection-I learnt that it is really easy to infer once you read and reread the text.

Chelsea Inference RL

Make inferences using the clues in the text along with your own experiences to help you figure out what is not directly said.

 

Reflection-I learnt that inferring is annoying cause there is lots of different answers that it could be.

Kotuku Decimal Word Problems

 Walt-Understand decimals to the tenths, hundredths and thousandths. Use decimals within word problems

I learnt that you need to use fractions to work out decimals sometimes

Te Reo Game

Walt-
